I took a Film Studies class in 2011, which awakened my dormant visual storytelling sense. Since then, I've been experimenting with the camera, initially using my cellphone to capture places and people that spoke to me. A few years ago, I started using a professional camera.
I have worked as a senior correspondent with Governance Now, a bi-weekly magazine in New Delhi, India. As an independent journalist, I have worked with Indiaspend, Firstpost, The Quint, The Wire, 101Repoters.com, and The Swaddle.
I cover health, politics, public policy, environment, science, art, and culture. I graduated with an MS in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University. For my writing portfolio, visit http://www.pujabhattacharjee.com
